Coach Brad
My diverse background allows me the opportunity to serve my clients from many different aspects. See below to dive into who Coach Brad is.
Coach Brad's Background:
Brad is a husband, father, career professional strength coach; a foodie, cyclist (road, MTB, gravel) and at one time a solid distance runner. He's a middle aged athlete fortunate to be able to train and compete; having successes in marathoning (2:40 marathon, 1:16 half marathon) and ultramarathoning, raced numerous US Nationals mountain bike races, qualified and competed twice at Xterra Off-Road Triathlon World Championships (10th and 14th in age group); podiumed at the Ironman 70.3 distance and have enjoyed the rigors of a couple Ironmans.
Brad was not a competitive youth athlete; instead a person struggling to find his way. 20+ years ago he put down the drink and found endurance sports which lead to a career in coaching.
His style begins by meeting the athlete where they are within their life and their sport; not where they want to be. He advocates for a lifelong relationship with sport and exercise, rooted in nutrition and strength training appropriately programmed year round for the endurance athlete or health seeker. A realist, he keeps it honest and straightforward; always respecting you and the work you do. Coach Brad utilizes his years of competition, life experiences, the sciences, and a no bullshit approach to guide his coaching.
